We all feel like that every now and again
At the height of World War II on April 6th, 1943, British Ambassador to Moscow, Sir Archibald Clark Kerr, wrote a letter to Foreign Office minister Lord Reginald Pembroke in an effort to simply brighten up his day. We think it helps to read most Fridays to warm the heart when life seems a little [...]
Brick & Jemma in Cape Town
A cold ‘Weekend’ morning in Cape Town saw Brick & Jemma husbands don their wet suits and brave the shark infested waters. We salute the effort shown to come out here and your love of catching the big one. Brydon & Russell looked like the emaciated Saffas that they are in comparison with these two [...]
The Karma Bunny
Fear not, the morphine has now subsided and with a clear head and the promise of chocolate later, I finally get to pen my thoughts on the South African medical system and the Karma Bunny. The Karma Bunny is not mine – I simply write about him on behalf of my cousin, the youthful Michael [...]
They could see shark teeth in the wound
So just back from a day or so in the hospital having had a combination of nurses, general anaesthetic, morphine, chilled chicken curry and surgery. I woke yesterday afternoon at about five after surgery with a gaggle of nurses showing me photos of shark teeth imprints on my left ankle. Little idiot me thought that [...]
When Printers go bad | How will the Karma bunny judge me now

Rose’s Lime Cordial with Lemonade (in a can)
The favourite item that I have found thus far in South Africa – fairly sweet on the tongue but as close to childhood in a can as I have found. Google+
I am proudly from Suffolk | But they are strange
Truely epic Nick Pandolfi radio interview with an old boy from Suffolk/Norfolk after the Great Storm of 1987. It may be hard for my American cousins to understand. A personal favourite passed to me yesterday – listen well . Google+
Nice News from Nice
Lovely to see the Nice family of Suffolk being featured on the back page of some god-awful Easy Anglian print publication. We certainly are pleased to see the location of mum placed in perspective – the young Sir John looking a little more coy in the background. Google+

Featuring three glorious people from my office and my cousin Tom. Just signed by the very clever Alan Mcgee from Creation records. Google+
Solo Personal Water Skiing Thing
Simply love it – personal control and water ski whenever you want. A little cheaper and more versatile than a motorboat. Would like to see it with a dog sitting loyally on the motor looking back at his owner. The solo personal water skiing thing is a bargain at £10k. Google+
