Part Two Bobacrayalot - Taken at a seafood restaurant called the Brass Bell in Kalk Bay.Gourmet crayfish platter for two. A grilled west coast rock lobster,catch of the day, calamari, black mussels and grilled tiger prawns. Served with salad , fries and savoury rice. Its the mouth that really makes this one .... great use of cray fish tails ..... note the sliced peppers from the salad used as iris detail. Inspiration comes in many forms and is largely out of our control. The influence of the people/environment around us in creating the right atmosphere for inspiration to take hold should not be understated. This weeks entries could not have been predicted given my lack of energy and enthusiasm towards the end of the week, but on Saturday and Sunday two glorious post dinner artforms emerged from the post-dinner haze. Part of the general theme of self-portraiture I think they are two of the finer entries to date. Part One - Bobazorbalot - Taken at the Greek restaurant Spiro's in Hout Bay.
